Beginner Surf Lesson

Learn Surf 101 and how to get comfortable on a surfboard in the ocean! This lesson is geared towards beginner surfers who have no experience or have taken a lesson or two. We begin with 30 minutes of surf basics on the sand, learning about the surfboard and how to "pop up" in a correct stance. After, we will pair off in twos and go into the white wash of the water to begin our basic training.

Atlaua Surf Club does not provide wetsuits or surfboards. We ask that you bring your own or rent from a local surf shop. In PB we recommend Mission Surf. Please allot enough time to rent your board and find parking/walk to our meeting spot at Tourmaline Beach by the restrooms.
